Rusty Paap, Listing Partner and Sales Leader of the Top Selling Velasco Group, is a 14 year veteran of the residential sales industry. Beginning his career in 2001 as a mortgage consultant for a high-volume mortgage brokerage, Paap's work ethic and strong organizational skills sparked a promotion to Office Manager, where he built a team of realtors and loan consultants and oversaw all aspects of their marketing programs, pricing strategies, and business operations through 2008. Building off of his experience as manager and later running his own franchise office, Rusty decided to focus all of his energy on residential real estate sales and joined Intero Real Estate Services in 2011. Soon after, Rusty allied with Joe Velasco and formed the dynamic Velasco Group, which is currently ranked Top 1% Worldwide in sales volume, projecting more than $100 Million in sales volume in 2015 and ramping up for a 2016 that is larger still. With a team of 6 sales agents, two full time assistants, Velasco Group has become the premier real estate team in the Silicon Valley representing home sellers and buyers as well as opening and selling out small and large new home developments throughout the Silicon Valley and neighboring areas.
Aside from his real estate career, Paap is also a published writer, having written several profile articles on World War II and Korean War Veterans in hopes to honor their courage and commitment to the American Dream. Paap also owns a recording/publishing company where he has executive produced, performed on, and co-engineered countless songs and long-play records, some of which have received substantial airplay in rotation in college radio.
